If no one is home at the time of delivery, your parcel will be left at your address, provided there is a safe and secure place to do so.
If there is no suitable location, your parcel may be taken to your local Post Office for collection. Australia Post now sends all attempted delivery notifications digitally. To track and manage your deliveries, please visit the Australia Post website or download the AusPost app.
Once you receive a notification that your parcel is out for delivery, you may be able to select a delivery preference, where available. To do this, log in to your MyPost account and update your delivery preferences accordingly.
